The Greater Newark Convention and Visitor Bureau (GNCVB), a non-profit organization composed of local tourism stakeholders and key industry leaders.
THE CHALLENGE
In 2008, GNCVB operated under the leadership of Brick City Development Corporation to generate significant economic revenue through tourism. As the official destination marketing organization for Newark and Elizabeth, New Jersey, GNCVB promotes and markets the assets of the region to generate economic development.
As the destination marketing organization, GNCVB leverages various IT service to expand their presence and promote tourism in Newark and Elizabeth, NJ.
THE SOLUTION
Link High Technologies, an Easy Office Phone Partner, suggested an IT solution including a hosted PBX phone system to help GNCVB fuel tourism promotion.
In addition, Link High Technologies provided other various IT solutions, including an on premise server with could backup for file storage and print services as well as hosted exchange email to improve collaboration ad communications.
THE RESULTS
With the new phone system and Link High’s IT network solutions in place, GNCVB was able to see excellent results in 3 particular areas:
Geographic Freedom – The hosted PBX system enables remote and office phones to be linked to GNCVB’s corporate office, eliminating geographical limitations and long-distance costs.
Enhanced Company Image – The hosted PBX system allows GNCVB to enhance their company image via fantastic features including music on hold, auto attendant, and customized messages to educate callers on hold.
Streamlined Communications – The hosted PBX system includes a conferencing feature to bring employees together, streamline communication, and simplify the process to save time and prevent miscommunication.
